Your life – where are you at? Where do you want to be in 10 years time, or even 5 years? REMEMBER - ANSWER THE QUESTIONS UNDERLINED IN YOUR PERSONAL JOURNAL. The most important thing I have learned in my life time is probably the truth of the statement. “If it’s to be – it’s up to me.” Think about that statement for a moment. What does it mean to you? What thoughts does it conjure up? Take some time here because I want you to really understand where I am coming from. Now I want you to make a commitment to not only read what I write here, but to do the exercises, if you do the exercises you will learn something about yourself. In fact you will discover a whole world of desires and ambitions and courage that you never knew existed.
First Task:I want you to go out and buy yourself the most beautiful journal you can find. Don’t spare the expense, go for it. Why buy an expensive one? Because if you just write on a scrap of paper do you think you will bother keeping it? Do you think you will use a book you just paid $20 for? Of course you will. Buying your journal is your first commitment to improving your life, so don’t procrastinate or say you can’t afford it, go buy the best you can with whatever money you can afford. Do you realise that what you buy, how you dress how you act, tells the world what you believe your worth! It doesn’t say what the world thinks your worth – it says what you think your worth! Think on it. OK you have your new Journal, isn’t it great! Now, go back to the last paragraph what do the words “If it’s to be – it’s up to me.” Bring up in your mind? I want you to write a paragraph explaining what it means to you. To me it represents the fact that if I want my life to change, if I want my dreams to become a reality then – I have to learn, do and be everything I need to be to achieve that. It means its going to get tough at times and I am going to hurt real bad, I am going to want to quit, I know that, so what is the difference between giving up and keeping going? What have I got to experience, what have I got to build up around me so that I don’t give up just because someone else puts down my dream? This is what you are going to discover. You will know what it takes if you follow through reading and completing the tasks of this programme of SKILLS PAGES. *Where ever you see a question written in these pages you need to get that journal out and write – answer the questions – put down your thoughts – this is important! You are now in the school of life! TRUITY’S school of life and how to achieve against the odds! You have all heard my story a hundred times over by now, until 15 years ago I could hardly read and write because of a learning disability, I did everything by memorising, design and using tape recorders etc to get my message across. I did not know how to use a computer, or how to create web pages or how to write a book let alone market my products and do the multitude of tasks I now accomplish with ease. It was not easy for me, it never has been never will be – the difference between me and other people is the fact I am determined to achieve my vision of my life, irrespective of what other people say or think! Your habits are the things that make or break your life. You have good habits, like cleaning your teeth, and you have bad habits like eating junk food because you need an emotional fix while you’re trying to loose weight for example. All of the information in these SKILLS PAGES will help you, if you make a commitment to use it and think about what I present. Our lives are the result of our basic habits; our daily experience is the result of our motivations, conditionings, habits and desires. |
