Every single person on earth has natural talents, they may not realize it but we do.  The problem come from the way we think about our talents. For example:  Person A loves watching TV, everyone keeps telling them to go and get a job, but they just like watching TV.  Person A decides hey why can't I do something to make what I love my job?  Everyone tells them they are crazy, and to get real, get a job, and forget it.  Meanwhile Person A decides they will watch TV and make short notes on what happens in their favorite programs, then publish it on the internet every day.  Well before you know it, that person is a multimillionaire, publishing a news weekly on the daily TV dramas.

Is it possible to live a successfull fulfilling life on your own terms?  Can you step out of the rat race, and still support yourself and your family?

Problems in life generally stem from doing things that are not in tune with our spirit, or true self. In reality we all need to earn a living, and this is true.  But what we can do is develop our skills and tallents in ways that will support us to one day be able to live our life powered by passion.   The great photographer, David Attenbourough is a good example of this, he refused to take no for an answer, and just kept on doing what he loved, and now many years later, he has lived the most extraordinary life all on his own terms.

Are you one of these people like Person A?   Do you have passions and talents that your not utilizing?  Could you be making a living out of what you love?  Is it possible to drive your life using your natural passion as the fuel for the motor?

The easiest way to work out if you do have a useable passion is to start with a list:  Yep a good old fashioned list.  Firstly write a list of 30 things you enjoy doing.  These must be things you really like, could be art, could be sewing, could be mountain climbing, doesn't matter what they are ( as long as they are legal)  Then mark the items on the list from 1 - 30 in order of what you enjoy the most to least.

When you look at your three lists, see how many of the things you like doing fit with the qualities you like about yourself, then look at the third list and see how these first two columns could be enhanced if you developed the skill in the third column.

You know people tend to make life complex, when in fact its not if you simply prioritize using your joy as your compass, you can find it much easier to find a job, or a career or even life experiences which will work for you and bring you to a fulfilling life.

Next write a second list, of things you like about yourself, could be you are determined, goal orientated, never give up, have good attention to detail, are never afraid of taking chances.  Write down as many as you can think of.

When you focus upon what you like about yourself, it opens your energy to opportunities, I don't  mean be self centered or big headed, I simply mean it is so important that we acknowledge the qualities we have that we can be proud of.

Now I want you to compare your two lists, see how the qualities of you as a person compliment the areas in your life that you enjoy.   For example:  Nurses are caring people, and have patience tolerance and compassion.  Mountain climbers, well they have strength, fortitude, determination and little fear and love taking risks.

Now looking at the two lists, what qualities could you develop that would make the things you love doing even more enjoyable?  Do you need to learn more practical skill?  Can you pay more attention to detail in your work and slow down to get a better result?  Think of ways you can enhance your skill by developing new qualities in your life.

Symptoms of being balanced and in tune with your Spiritual self are:

When we are totally balanced, then the universe provides us with a total unified sense of connection with the whole of life's tapestry.  Information flows, backwards and forwards allowing us to be aware of opportunities, creative in our human potential and in the right place at the right time. At such times we have a positive outlook on life and have a "Can Do," mental attitude when it comes to overcoming problems. During times of balance our senses provide enormous amounts of information often subconsciously triggering insight, which allows us to know when to stop, go turn right and left.
