There is no easy fix in life, becoming self aware is like those shampoo adds, “it wont happen overnight but it will happen.” Your life and mine is a direct result of how we think, and process information, how we respond to circumstances and the choices we make.  We can make informed choices, or we can simply run on auto pilot and react to every little thing, its up to us.  I would like to think that a part of my role in writing this manuscript is to help you be aware that you have choices, and to show you that there are other ways of looking at life experiences, and to reassure you we often only see a tiny part of the picture.  For the most part of our lives our actions are prompted by subconscious assumptions and presumptions and these are all fed by our insecurities, fears, beliefs and values and from all this cocktail of information we unknowingly make the choices which determine how and when our life will lead us.   The biggest problem we have as human beings is that we don’t know what we don’t know. We just do the best we can with what we have and blunder along, with all the past conflicts and confusions, and joys colouring our reality as we go.
